About me
Since I can remember I’ve always had a camera at the ready. Through a lens, I love to document the little things; a footprint on a muddy bank, the light of the morning sun as it touches a familiar face. Whatever it is, it’s a way for me to view the world how I see it; full of beauty and wonder even in the simplest things. This might sound pretty cheesy - and I am so okay with that!
In 2015 I lost the love of my life, and the father of my two beautiful kids. It’s because of him I chose this dreamy path. I will never forget how he saved to buy me my first big girl camera, a gesture that meant everything to me.
I love that he saw me as a real photographer before I did.
I am forever grateful for the pictures I have of my family back then- simple shots of our little life. They allow us to hold space for, and honor him as we remember him - smiling, loved.
These days I can’t imagine doing anything else but photographing wonderful humans and their love.
My photographic style uses the softness of natural light to create emotive and raw imagery, sprinkled with dreamy romanticism. But it's been described in so many ways. I think that's because a lot of what people see in each image is themselves, their love, their connectedness, their story.
I love capturing you as you are, and telling your truth as it is.
